Description
PMA Ethiopia data from 2018–2022 show that just 32% of children are fully vaccinated by their first birthday, with coverage dropping sharply between first and final doses. Half of one-year-olds had been ill in the past two weeks, yet only 14% received treatment. The gaps are stark: 70% of children in the wealthiest households are fully vaccinated compared with 18% in the poorest, and 87% in Addis Ababa compared with 12% in Afar. Only a third of health posts stock all basic child vaccines, versus roughly 85% of hospitals and health centers.
